This course is designed to explain how nursing assistant programs work and familiarize participants with the laws and rules that govern programs. You will learn about the many roles of a nursing assistant instructor and how to implement these roles. 

Many facets of teaching and how they facilitate learning experiences will be explored. This course will prepare you for your responsibilities as an instructor and provide the tools needed to function as a novice instructor.  

This course meets the requirements of the Illinois Department of Public Health for registered nurses with specified qualifications Department Approved Train the Trainer program.
